The GMap2 interface has been redesigned to allow API users to extend it. We now have documented ways of creating custom map controls, custom overlays, and even custom map types.

We will see what kind of good things we can use to make our system more shiny. Or? But first we have to stick on our to do list. Some HTTPRequest stuff for the tags, and I really keen on looking into the whole community aspects - how can a person has his or her own map or how can we share our markers and so on.
